The Nourishing Place
The Nourishing Place consists of several aspects all of which work in conjunction and harmony with one another to promote wholeness and health among the local population.
We are an immediate response agency assisting local people to live quality lives. We are available to meet urgent needs 7 days a week. The Director has a Ph.D. and Ed.D. and is an ordained minister. We also assist with utility bills, medical assistance, food and clothing as needed, and after Katrina we purchased furniture, appliances and building materials for many, many families.

The Nourishing Place operates with donations provided. What comes in is what goes out!
In our ten years of existence this has been our policy. We continue to be blessed beyond measure by individuals as well as companies. All "employees" volunteer their time, energy, efforts and skills.
